2024 is the 25th year of our rowing event in the PNW to raise funds for Breast Cancer.
Since 2022, we have partnered with Rowing Cares, allowing our volunteer organized committee the opportunity to identify and designate local partners to receive funding from the event.
Our mission is to partner with local organizations that will use all funds raised from the Pink Ribbon Row to provide Breast Cancer education, mammograms, diagnostic and follow-up care, and financial support for patients diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
Our current partners include the Providence Comprehensive Breast Center/ Providence Foundation, Citrine Health, Carol Milgard Breast Center, NW Hope & Healing, and Swedish Foundation. Employees, family and friends from these organizations also volunteer at the event which helps us determine fund distribution.
In 2022 we allocated $77,000 and in 2023 our grants totaled $110,000!
We continue to seek out other local partners who can provide services towards early detection and support after diagnosis.
